Introducing our new Physiotherapy sessions.
Our team consists of a qualified physiotherapist with experience in
adults with physical impairments and learning disabilities
The role of physiotherapy is to manage long-term conditions, recommending specific treatments and promoting health. In most of the clients, the aim of physiotherapy is to maximise functional mobility and enable independence. Physiotherapy can follow different patterns depending on the disability, needs, goals and independence of every client. It is a creative form of therapy and can adjust in places and time. The main purposes of physiotherapy are to follow a patient-centered care approach, to encourage, assure and assist the clients to accomplish their goals, to develop skills and increase the confidence indoors and outdoors.
The team consists of a qualified physiotherapist with experience in adults with physical impairments and learning disabilities. The sessions run with assistance from support and care staff at CMSS. Physiotherapy runs weekly throughout the year. Assessment takes place before the goal setting and the physiotherapy program plan in every client depending on their needs.
